If ever there was a subject of controversy among the hordes of digital photo enthusiasts, should be "What is the best brand digital camera?". This is sometimes called "What is the best brand digital camera to buy?" Not to be confused with "What is the best device photo to buy. "Because everyone knows that the film (regular) cameras are far superior to digital cameras. Wait a second or was it vice versa? Who can keep track of our days? Now, before straying too far from the subject, lets take a look at the battle of aging, and see if we can determine which brand is best.

While sales of digital cameras have an indication what the best brand was, then, according to Amazon.com Canon would be a clear winner. As I write this, Canon produces 18 of the 25 best-selling camera in its list of best-seller. What I do suggest, is to do your homework by researching some good cameras. Once you’ve got your short list, and with everything else being equal, maybe then you should pick the Canon.
